Dog Mountain

I snagged this shot in a brief lull during some heavy rains along the Dog Mountain Trail on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. Also, I will be gone from May 28 to June 2 for the giant Xrez Yosemite project. We are going to unwrap the entire valley in photographs to overlay a 3D map. This will enable the NPS to study the landslide and rockfall nature of the valley. Along with aiding rescue crews in understanding an objective hazard before they put themselves at risk in a rescue of a given valley location. Can’t wait to go…
