The Penalty Killers put on yet another great show this evening.  Which they are still enjoying the remainder of at Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR.  I however have to be to my “day job” in 5 hrs.  So, check back for more in the gallery of this band in the coming week.

I got this take tonight with my new Canon 40D and a Sigma 18mm-50mm f 2.8.  Shutter speed 1/13, f 4.0, ISO 500, Focal length 18mm.  I took this shot on my way back from my AFSP meeting tonight…

I also shot a pano, but it has a few holes, so I’ll need to go do a retake.

Go down to Pro Photo Supply during the month of September to view an 89″ x 18″ inch print of my Mount Hood Pano.  I will be taking this display down on Sep 30.  Then the large print will move to Daddies Board Shop, however, if you wish to buy one of the smaller prints from the wall as is, then that would be $70.00.  If you want me to take one apart and sign it…$100.00 would be that price.  If you want to buy a large print of the panoramic in the same plexi style, but in a more polished finish with non-glare plexi: $2000.00 If you needed a custom hanging system talk to Matt Herboth of Herboth Remolding.

Recently, this execellent duo moved their operation into a well deserved larger space that can be found at the intersection of Sandy and Fremont in NE Portland.  Where you will find a wall display of biblical scale only possibly countered by Cal Skate’s wall display.  However, their floor display is unmatched in the Portland vicinity.  The mall store Zumies can’t even compete with Daddies floor space.  It seems fitting that Daddies Boardshop now operates out of such a massive floor plan.  Their floor plan is the largest I have personally seen for a board shop.  I’ve never seen any other store to match their new location in my travels of Colorado, Idaho, Washington or Oregon…not saying there may not be…I just haven’t seen it.

If you’re looking for good quality board gear, whether that be snow, skate or mountain boards Daddies is the stop for you.  The knowledgable staff who are all highly experienced will be able to direct you to the perfect match for the desired style.

This last Friday I went to the Oregon Zoo in Portland and snagged this interesting fish through the glass.
