The three images of the Lightning were 40-80 sec exposures @ f22 and ISO 150. This is only my second set ever of photography lightning. These are of the storm that has been brewing almost every night over our home in Broomfield, CO since the beginning of July. It will be interesting to see what kind of photographs await me in the future.

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009Well, I’m climbing Mount Hood over the next two days. However, I just got back from Colorado and wanted to make a quick post about my trip with my wife. First we hiked a portion of the Continental Divide South of Loveland Pass towards Snikatu and Grizzly Peak.

This is my wife getting to that above view

Then later that week we went to Estes Park for some bouldering in the area known as Lumpy Ridge below the formations of rock called Twin Owls.

After our time on the rocks I set up this wonderful self portrait of us utilizing a fairly large shelf on the boulder we were previously climbing.

I will update more info after my climb during the next two days.
