Taken along the Ridge to Snikatu North of Torrey’s and Gray’s and NE of Loveland Pass, CO
Here’s a BW version:
I went up to Loveland Pass in the hopes of going for a stroll up to the top of Snikatu last night. However, the steady 70+ mph winds thwarted my attempt. It was difficult to just stand in that intensity. So, I went downslope on the southside and snagged the above photo in a steady 30 mph wind. The cold made my trigger release stiffen up.
Well, I’m climbing Mount Hood over the next two days. However, I just got back from Colorado and wanted to make a quick post about my trip with my wife. First we hiked a portion of the Continental Divide South of Loveland Pass towards Snikatu and Grizzly Peak.

This is my wife getting to that above view

Then later that week we went to Estes Park for some bouldering in the area known as Lumpy Ridge below the formations of rock called Twin Owls.

After our time on the rocks I set up this wonderful self portrait of us utilizing a fairly large shelf on the boulder we were previously climbing.

I will update more info after my climb during the next two days.
