Multnomah Falls, Oregon

I got this shot on a recent run in the Gorge while visiting family. We ran the Wakena-Multnomah loop about 6 miles, it was a blast.

The light was a bit less on the indoor arena, not to mention each light in the ceiling was a different color. No flash was allowed.

We went out to Smith Rocks again this week! My wife took the sharp end of the rope for another round and squashed the spider on the first pitch of Spiderman Buttress a 5.7 slab for her third lead climb ever. Naturally while out there to climb I also seized the opportunity to get some more photos.

Here’s a low quality video shot with my cell phone at the location that I took the shot above.

Well, I love photographing waterfalls in the gorge. So a natural progression is to photograph fountains. This shot was taken at the Civic Auditorium with post work in photoshop to bring out a unique undertone and pop the strips of the hoody even more. This was shot while out getting urban style photos for Vayuwear in downtown Portland. Thank you Jon for letting me tell you what to do for an evening in front of my lens.

I got this shot the other day while out shooting for Vayuwear above the main Multnomah Falls that everyone in the Northwest knows well. This one is roughly the third or fourth main falls.

Yesterday evening after my race at McCubbins Gulch I got to meet up with an old friend, J. Nicholas Allard to check out his lastest creation in the music world.  His new music video: Letters.  Letters is not released yet.  Letters was directed by Andrew Ellmaker who did a wonderful job with the portion of filming that I personally witnessed.  Andrew created a seemless flow of energy from shot to shot.  J. Nicholas Allard, well I personally thank him for letting me know of the filming and allowing me to witness the process and squence of moving a crew from take to take and shot to shot.  Enjoy the behind the scenes sneak peak at Letters.
