I took this shot the other day towards the end of a hike with my uncle…we started at Multnomah Falls parking and headed west to Wakena along the road. Then up the Wakena Falls trail and connected back to the Multnomah Falls trail. At the time I didn’t notice the sun light acting up as is shown in the image. However, I like it…I think it brings out an interesting dynamic that would not be possible otherwise.

Evening Walk

I took this composition near the train station in Portland last night without my tripod, since my friend was using it at the moment. It still came out well despite.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (aka AFSP)

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

Awhile back I lost my Uncle Jim to suicide and since then I’ve been helping the AFSP start a local Portland Metro Chapter with the possibility of reaching various locations in Oregon and Vancouver, WA.  I have included code below so you can put up one of the banners above on various webpages to help spread the needed information.

This is for the vertical banner:

<a title=”Poulton Imaging” href=”http://www.afsp.org/”> <img border=”0″ src=”http://poultonimaging.com/wp-content/gallery/untitled-link-images/afspclimbingmagvert.jpg”> </a>

This is for the horizontal banner:

<a title=”Poulton Imaging” href=”http://www.afsp.org/”> <img border=”0″ src=”http://poultonimaging.com/wp-content/gallery/untitled-link-images/afspversin1hort.jpg”> </a>

Thank you for any help you can give this organization.

If you can, remember to sign up for your local Community Walk or a Out Of The Darkness walk.  The next big walk is in Chicago this year.  You can find information on these walks here:

Bagby Falls

My new blogging and gallery website, PoultonImaging.com, is now in its final stages of completion.  I hope that everyone that knows me or has an interest in photography, especially scenic photos of the Pacific Northwest, will check back soon.

I am excited about this new opportunity to not only share my photographs with everyone, but also to share my thoughts and experiences with everyone that stops by.

Be sure to subscribe so that you will be notified by email whenever I add new photos or update my blog.
