The Light in the night

A light not so bright

The stormy brew a pop

The three images of the Lightning were 40-80 sec exposures @ f22 and ISO 150. This is only my second set ever of photography lightning. These are of the storm that has been brewing almost every night over our home in Broomfield, CO since the beginning of July. It will be interesting to see what kind of photographs await me in the future.

Sister in Law’s Wedding

Monday, June 27th, 2011

Went out to San Jose and the Los Gatos area for my Sister in Law’s wedding. It was a good time filled with great food, great company, some wine and a little photography.

The "something blue"

I scrubbed the table down to get a clean shine since it was an outdoor patio table.

The "Something blue" take two.

Still outside I just tweaked the light a little.

The "Something new and old"

The pearl necklace was the “something old” from the family’s great grandmother. The earrings were the “something new”.

A little sepia tone for fun.

Some more Sepia.

The something "Sepia" I have thing with Sepia and weddings.

The something blue in Salsa shoe please.

The Ring bearer

Take 2 Ring Bearer in 50% Sepia. Highlighting the Reds and Yellows, while darkening the Greens and Blues. I left Magenta alone.

Loveland Pass

105 sec f/2.8 15mm ISO 400

I went up to Loveland Pass in the hopes of going for a stroll up to the top of Snikatu last night. However, the steady 70+ mph winds thwarted my attempt. It was difficult to just stand in that intensity. So, I went downslope on the southside and snagged the above photo in a steady 30 mph wind. The cold made my trigger release stiffen up.
