Well, I love photographing waterfalls in the gorge. So a natural progression is to photograph fountains. This shot was taken at the Civic Auditorium with post work in photoshop to bring out a unique undertone and pop the strips of the hoody even more. This was shot while out getting urban style photos for Vayuwear in downtown Portland. Thank you Jon for letting me tell you what to do for an evening in front of my lens.

Yesterday evening after my race at McCubbins Gulch I got to meet up with an old friend, J. Nicholas Allard, well I personally thank him for letting me know of the filming and allowing me to witness the process and squence of moving a crew from take to take and shot to shot. Enjoy the behind the scenes sneak peak at Letters.

I took this shot the other day towards the end of a hike with my uncle…we started at Multnomah Falls parking and headed west to Wakena along the road. Then up the Wakena Falls trail and connected back to the Multnomah Falls trail. At the time I didn’t notice the sun light acting up as is shown in the image. However, I like it…I think it brings out an interesting dynamic that would not be possible otherwise.
