Mount Hood Meadows

Wednesday, March 25th, 2015

Here’s a cut of clips from a recent shoot at Meadows:

I started off attempting to ski with my snoblades, but I realized shortly into the first run that, although valiant it was a successful failure.  But before that first run was over, we went for the Rock Garden on Shooting Star at Meadows.  On that run I managed to get a shot while standing on my snoblades in deep snow, this shot ended up being used for a few needs on social media along with a press release:

Couldn’t have had better people to ride and hike with to get some good stashes!

Still updating the site

Saturday, February 8th, 2014

Well, did a little ski tour of WSU Vancouver this evening and the other day saw a snow monster on the Fremont Bridge..

I’ll get back to standard page updates once the site is working well. My webmaster has bumped into a few issues. Looking forward to the finished site, it will be good!

The only non-iPhone shot I got today while out on Silver Star Mountain today.    It was a chilly one, if I had more time I would have gone for a pano with the GigaPan.  Another time perhaps.

Excited for my webmaster to get this restructuring of my site complete.  I thank him for the work he does with the themes on this site.  We will be going with a lighter theme soon.

Don’t forgot to contact me directly for any prints of my photos.

Here’s some older photos to enjoy:

Thank you to my Wife for clicking the shutter...however, it's a bit difficult to pre-focus at f/2.8 when you're not in the frame. Thank you to my Grandpa for the much taller tripod!

Winter

Winter is just around the corner. Hoping for another clear shot like the one I got last Winter with the GigaPan.

First Hood Night Pano

Ah, the refreshing cold will be delightful. Sadly it doesn’t last nearly long enough these days. Sea levels and temperatures rising, weather behaving in disastrous way, Firestorms litter the summer forest scape…..

The most devastating part is that those who have affected climate change the least will be affected the most. According to a Newsweek article reposted on the DARA site.

DARA is an organization founded in 2003 to aid humanitarian efforts to assist vulnerable populations devastated by conflict or natural disasters. For more on DARA

Don’t forget to check out my Print Ordering Page to assist the continuation of the CIGP through 2014. The more prints I sell, the more easily the next season of shooting will start off running.

I can print special orders for Plywerk and Aluminum prints. Both are great ways to display the quality of the image. Just request via email.

Another Mount Hood Morning

Saturday, November 10th, 2012

Headed for a climb around the WyEast Face, but stability was questionable.

First attempt at an early morning photo with an additional element.
