Well, despite that fact that my better camera. The 40D is in the shop because I dropped it about 5 feet…I had to get out and shoot in a unique location with my wife today. So we went to the Ape Caves on the Southside of Mount Saint Helens. I got the shot above towards the end of our journey which started a few hours earlier and about two miles from this wonderful sunlight.
We started traveling the lower cave, thinking it was the upper cave.

Shortly after this shot we turned back, came out for some warm air after we realized that we had indeed went to the end of the lower cave.

We went back into the cold to get what we came here for, the upper cave.

After traveling over numerous rock piles and through moderate squeezes we got to the finale. The Skylight area. Ariel tried her best to stand still for twenty seconds.

Standing still for 20 seconds is near impossible. However, She did well enough.

I got this shot yesterday along the Kalama River Road just Northeast of Kalama, Washington. It was a moderate adventure getting to this spot. As my friend was driving I spotted some rapids in the river. We stopped and found our way through the trees to a steep embankment of about 60 feet with ropes to do the hand over hand method down the steep terrain. It was enjoyable.
